Our Mission
Relevate Church is a Kingdom ministry committed first to serving the King and then to building people to fulfill their Kingdom assignments and ultimately walk in their God-given destinies.
We are devoted to the Great Commission. By the grace and anointing of God, we pursue real ministry to real people, proclaim uncompromised truth, and love others regardless of where they come from. Our highest priority is to see lives transformed through the finished work of Calvary, because we believe there is no person God cannot change. From our home in Gordon County, we serve people throughout the surrounding Gilmer, Pickens, Bartow, and Cherokee County communities.

Our Vision
Our vision is to be a people who are passionate for God’s presence, carry a relevant message that revolutionizes lives, engage honestly with those searching for real-life answers, and demonstrate the true love of Jesus.

Apostolic Leadership
As an apostolic center, we are called to raise up, facilitate healing, train, and release a new breed of leaders—people who are devoted to the full heart of God and willing to follow the King wherever He leads. We love people deeply, and our desire is not for them to remain spectators who merely watch the Kingdom happen, but to become leaders who help advance it.

A House of Prayer
Everything we do is built on a foundation of prayer. Prayer is not simply an event on our schedule; it is a primary platform of ministry and a clear priority that requires focus, training, encouragement, and time.

Lambs Become Lions
There is nothing ordinary about Relevate Church. This is a place where lambs become lions and the leader within each person is called forth and empowered to help reshape a world in desperate need of redemption. Bishop Lance & Pastor Lisa Johnson
Serve as the overseers of Relevate Church. They reside in Calhoun, Georgia and togetherhave two adult children and six grandchildren.
Their passion is to see Jesus exalted, lives transformed, leaders equipped, and revival sustained for generations to come. After more than 30 years in ministry their message remains clear and is at the heart of this house: God’s presence changes everything!
03 / Foundation
What We Believe
Our beliefs are rooted in Scripture and shape how we worship, serve, lead, and live together.
The Bible
We believe the entire Bible is inspired by God, without error, and is the authority upon which we base our faith, conduct, and doctrine.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God, His substitutionary death for all people, His resurrection, and His eventual return to judge the world.
Humanity and Salvation
We believe all people are born with a sinful nature and that the finished work of Calvary redeems humanity from the power of sin. Salvation is available to all who will receive it.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit as the third Person of the Trinity and in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as manifested through the gifts of the Spirit.
Stewardship
We believe every person is a steward of the life and resources that ultimately belong to God. We believe tithing is an act of obedience to the scriptural principles of stewardship.
The Local Church
We believe in the need for a local assembly of believers for the purposes of evangelism and edification.
Worship
We believe in worshiping the Lord through singing, clapping, dancing, and the lifting of hands.
Evangelism and Discipleship
We believe evangelism is the responsibility of every believer. The Lord commands us to go and make disciples of all nations.
Water Baptism
We believe in the ordinance of water baptism by immersion. All who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior should be baptized in water as a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to new life.
